GB Boxing in the community
As an organisation which benefits from public funding in a sport that is renowned for its ability to have a positively transformative impact on people’s lives, GB Boxing recognises that it has a wider responsibility to society and runs an extensive community impact programme which aims to build social capital and improve life chances for young people.
The programme is primarily delivered through partnerships with two local charities, Roundabout and Sheffield Mind, which were selected in 2024 following an extensive tender process and an internal consultation to identify organisations that reflect the values of GB Boxing and the issues that matter to its boxers, coaches and staff.
