Road to Tokyo – London Qualifiers – Everything you need to know
TICKETS for the Boxing Road to Tokyo Olympic Qualifying event in London are now on sale at https://see.tickets/boxingroadtotokyo with prices starting at £5 (£2.50 concessions) for many of the sessions at the biggest Olympic boxing event to take place in England since the 2012 Olympic Games.
The 11-day tournament is being held at the Copper Box Arena on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 14-24 March 2020 and will see up more than 350 men and women from over 40 countries compete for 77 places at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The action will take place across eight men’s weight categories and five for women. 50 qualification places are available for the men and 27 for women.
Eight men and five women from the GB Boxing squad will be selected to compete at the tournament which will be their first opportunity to qualify for Tokyo 2020.

Weekday, daytime session: Adult £5, Concessions (U18’s, 65 and over, Students) £2.50
Weekday evening & weekend sessions: Adult £10, Concessions (U18’s, 65 and over, Students) £5
On-the-door (weekday, evening & weekend sessions): Adult £15, Concessions (U18’s, 65 and over, Students) £5
Bout Draw
The draw for the bouts will take place in the week commencing 2nd March, exact date will be confirmed asap.
Team Announcement
GB Boxing will announce the squad of athletes taking part in these London qualifiers on Wednesday 5th February, 2020.
Weight Classes
Below will detail which weight classes are fighting on which days of the tournament.
Women 51kg: 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Women 57kg: 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Women 60kg: 14th, 17th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Women 69kg: 14th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th
Women 75kg: 14th, 17th, 20th, 23rd and 24th.
Men 52kg: 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Men 57kg: 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Men 63kg: 14th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 23rd and 24th.
Men 69kg: 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Men 75kg: 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Men 81kg: 14th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Men 91kg: 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.
Men 91kg+: 14th, 18th, 20th, 22nd and 24th.
Location
The Copper Box Arena can be found in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E20 3HB.
Transport
Underground/Overground: Hackney Wick is the closest rail station to the Copper Box Arena (0.4 miles) and is an estimated 10 min walk.
Alternatively, Stratford International is also in close proximity (0.5 miles) and will take around 12 minutes to reach the arena from the station.
Startford Station and Olympic Park are also a reasonable distance from the venue.
Please note, Stratford and Stratford International station is in Travel Zone 2/3.
Bus: If you’re travelling by bus then you can board the 388 service which will drop you off on Waterden Road (0.1 miles) a four minute walk from the arena.
This service runs between Stratford City Bus station and London Bridge Bus Station. Stops also include Cambridge Heath Station, Shoreditch High Street Station and Liverpool Street Station. Further details regarding this service can be found here.
All of these forms of transport are operated by TfL and therefore contactless and Oyster card payment is accepted.

Car: If you’re travelling by car then the closest car park can be found at Stratford Westfield Car Park (0.5 miles) which is an 11 minute walk to the event.
This car park is made up of three separate parks with around 4,500 spaces available. All car parks are open 24/7 for exit purposes, however only Car Parks A & B are open 24/7 for entry also.
