Seven members of podium squad to compete in this week’s Feliks Stamm tournament
SEVEN boxers from the GB Boxing podium squad will compete in this week’s Feliks Stamm tournament In Pultusk, Poland from 22nd-26th May 2023.
The team will be comprised of three men and four women in what will be the final competition before the first Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier which is set to take place next month, in Krakow.
Wales’ Ioan Croft and England’s Hannah Robinson will be back in action for the first time since winning silver at the Gee Bee last month and will be looking to go one step further and earn gold this time out.
The Gee Bee in Finland was also the last time Savannah Stubley, Olivia Holmes and Kerry Davis competed, although on that occasion all three narrowly missed out on reaching the medals stages.
Holmes did however win her first ever senior gold at the Bocskai in February.
Completing the squad is 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medallists, heavyweight Lewis Williams and super-heavyweight Delicious Orie.
The seven boxers will represent England and Wales at the Feliks Stamm. The full team is:
