Five men to compete at this week’s Tammer tournament
Five men from the GB Boxing squad will travel to Tampere, Finland for this year’s Tammer Tournament from 11th-13th November 2022.
European silver medallist Lewis Richardson will compete for the first time since taking bronze at the Commonwealth Games earlier this year and will box in the middleweight contest.
He will be joined by light-heavyweight Ramtin Musah, who will be looking to add to his medal haul this year, having already claimed a silver and bronze at the Boxam and Belgrade winner competitions.
Completing the team is three men who will be stepping through the ropes for the first time as GB Boxers, having officially joined the programme earlier this year.
Two-time senior elite national champion Patrick Brown will compete at heavyweight whilst academy boxers Patris Mulghalzai and Owen Rees will enter the light-welterweight and welterweight contests respectively.
All five boxers will represent England at Tammer. The full team is:
